Bridal Shower Prep!

Today has sure been an adventure! and a blast! My sisters (Cyd, Morg, and Tay) and I have been preparing for Morgan's bridal shower tomorrow! It's crazy how time goes by so fast. I can't believe we are throwing my baby sister her bridal shower. She can't be that old!....just can't. Yet, here we are. I started off the bridal shower events by making cookies for the shower tomorrow! I think I FINALLY made cookies that will taste like cookies. haha. (I have never had much luck with baking cookies- ask Kendra ;-) See for yourself! (They are called "Bar Cookies")

Then Cyd, Morg, and Tay came and picked me up and we headed off to Idaho Falls! Cyd and I bought Morgan her temple dress. I am so excited that Morgan and Rayse are starting their lives together in the temple. There is no better or more peaceful place on Earth (To learn more about Temples, click Here.) After we spent an hour at Deseret Book, we decided to have lunch at Cafe Rio!


After eating I decided I had better change my son before heading to Walmart. I knew he pooped at Deseret Book but I didn't have a chance to change him. Well, poor Eli poops about once a week (with the help of prune juice), and so it usually is a diaper full, BUT today was a full blown blow out!! haha.. (First one he's ever had I might add). I got him out of his car seat, and it was all over his pants, down his leg, up his back, on Cyd's seat (I accidentally rubbed him against it when I got him out of the car seat...oops!), on my hands... you get the picture! It was all over! The whole ordeal took about a half hour to clean him up, change him, and get everything cleaned up. I'm glad I had some extra hands to help me out :-)

We all got a few giggles out of it, and honestly, how can you be mad at a face this cute?

After getting a few last minute food items, we headed up to Grandma Woods' house to make decorations and visit. It's been an eventful day and I'm blessed to have such a wonderful family!
